Overview
Tallo is a digital platform that bridges the gap between students, educational institutions, and employers by enabling seamless connections for career and educational opportunities.
The Challenge
Tallo faced challenges in presenting an experience that balanced ease of use with robust functionality for both students and recruiters. Students needed an accessible, engaging way to create profiles, discover opportunities, and showcase their unique qualities beyond traditional metrics like GPAs. Talent Seekers required comprehensive tools to identify, connect, and maintain engagement with potential candidates while promoting their organizations’ unique cultures and opportunities
The Process
We conducted user interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to gain insights into user needs and preferences. Robust user personas guided every design decision. Agile one-week sprints allowed for rapid prototyping and user validation. Requirement Visualization workshops helped clarify incomplete requirements with the product team.
Using Figma, we developed designs and prototypes that balanced user needs with brand cohesion. Detailed annotations ensured a smooth handoff to the development team, facilitating consistent, efficient implementation. I specifically worked on the Student profile and Talent Seeker Analytics features while on this project.
